Skid Row
On Skid Row in Downtown, Los Angeles, there are many less fortunate people. Some are homeless, mentally handicapped, or physically handicapped. Some are drug addicts and have nowhere to go or sufficient money to have a place called home. These people all live on Skid Row.
Many of these people stay in missions to get prepared for living on their own, while others remain on the streets.
On December 19, 2009, World Unity Organization, a non-profit entity, gave away clothing and bathing supplies to people in need on Skid Row on the corner of San Pedro and 6th Street.
